Project Background
The emergency repair project for the water-damaged section of a high-altitude provincial road in Qinghai Province is located at an altitude of 3200 meters. The section has suffered from roadbed collapse and slope rockfall due to heavy rain erosion. The repair work needs to be completed quickly in a low-temperature and oxygen-deficient environment to ensure the road’s accessibility.

High-altitude Adaptability: The engine has been optimized and adjusted to adapt to high-altitude working conditions. Even in an oxygen-deficient environment, it can maintain stable power output without experiencing power loss or difficulty in starting.
Efficiency in Emergency Repair: The excavator can quickly complete the clearing of collapses, excavation of collapsed roadbeds, and sand and stone backfilling. A single piece of equipment can complete the repair section length of over 80 meters in a single day. Combined with dump trucks, it enables “digging and transporting simultaneously”, restoring half of the road’s traffic within 24 hours.
Reliability in Low-Temperature Environments: The hydraulic system adopts a low-temperature-resistant design. It can still operate normally at -10℃, without the need for additional preheating, ensuring the timeliness of emergency construction.
Project Results
The repair period was shortened by 40% compared to the expected time, effectively ensuring the traffic safety of the high-altitude provincial road and receiving high praise from the local transportation department.
